Our Baby girl and more!!

So we have been pretty busy lately! Our baby girl was born May 29th! I cannot believe she is already 3 months and a week old the time is just flying by! We are so happy and Kaiden has adjusted so well, he loves sissy and love getting to play with her and he loves to help. He is already such a great big brother. I cannot imagine life without these bundles of JOY I am beyond blessed words cannot even say!

Here at Uptown Baby we have several new products in, this adorable ZEBRA print onesie, Lace leg warmers, Custom tutus with tons of options for customizing! We are also working hard on getting new products that will just make you DROOL and well of course those you cannot live without! STay tuned!

I am blessed to announce our new arrival! Kaiden was born Thursday, July 30th, at 2:53pm, weighing 8lbs 2 oz. and 20 inches long! I have never experience LOVE like this! He is so perfect, so precious. We are so in love!! Today he is one week old and he is already growing so fast!! His perfect little hands, cute little toes, he is so amazing and its hard to believe that we made this little guy! We hope you enjoy in this moment with us - and celebrating our beautiful angel. We are so thankful and grateful and never knew parenthood could be so gratifying. We are so blessed!

God's Amazing Power and Help in our Time of need

You realize how much you love animals when your neighbors puppy (who is tied up directly in front of their front door) is yelping and you have a gut feeling to go check on the little dog. I could immediately see that the dog had just peed from the trail that was going down the driveway. At first, I thought I should check on the dog to make sure it had not been attacked by another animal as we do live in a woody area maybe something got a hold of him. But the way he was yelping, I could tell I need to hurry. Only our porch light was on, so I was trying to inspect without waking up the everyone. And upon closer inspection, I could see that one of the buckets they had used to clean the dog with (a bucket usually used in cleaning cars) had the poor little guy trapped!!! His head was caught in between the handle and the bucket, where he could breathe somehow but very panicked and afraid he would loose his breath, and to be honest I don't know with such little room how he was breathing at all. Of course I tried to free him, and to no avail. I went and moved everything from around him to get more room and still nothing. He just kept yelping you could tell he was scared and afraid to die and this is why maybe peed suddenly, if he panicked and thought he could not get free. Just a puppy, experimenting with a bucket that should have not been left there. Something so innocent you would think would not be a hazard could have been the end of this little guys life. So starting to panic, I ask God for help, and He lets me know to go wake up my husband. My husband immediately trys to free him and still is not able to either. He goes to look for wire cutters in the tool box, and could not find them, back again to try to free him. I prayed then aloud, asking Jesus - please help us! Then with God's instant help - my husband pulls off the handle to the bucket. I am so grateful to God that we could - with Only His help save this little puppy's life. It brings me to tears to think this is just a slight example, of how much Jesus loves us. If we only ask for help, He is right there. Its just proof of His wonderous and powerful love and never changing dedication to help us and meet us at our need. And Thank GOD that He saved this little angel puppy's life tonight.

BIG NEWS!

So we haven't posted a new blog since last year, shame shame on us! We have had a lot going on, and one being the BIG NEWS that me and my husband are expecting a baby! I am 22 weeks, and we are having a Boy! We are really excited and this will be a new and thrilling journey for us. We have so many great expectations for our child and our new life!

Of course we are coming up with names and so far, we only have one, which is Gabriel. I love it, but I don't if its "the one". If you have any ideas please leave them in comments - I would love to hear your unique ideas!

We are also searching for our little prince's "Debut outfit" for when his first picture will be taken and his first day we will be welcoming him to his new world! Its hard to express on the internet how happy we are - that's just it - words cannot describe this feeling of Joy :) The first pic is our first photo of him, and the next two are the next sg we had, isn't he a cutie?

Our Stay at NYLO

I wanted to share our experience at NYLO. We spent two fabulous nights at this upscale hotel and it was well worth the extra money. Gorgeous, sophisticated and chic. From the moment you walk in the door you relax. Me and hubby were able to enjoy the perks of Club NYLO like having a super soft fur throw adorn the bed, a squeaky clean room and a soft squishy bed and on top sits an adorable teddy bear that says "take me home". This is in addition to the regular luxe glamor you get with NYLO, like the contemporary ceilings, excellent local art and convenience at every turn. NYLO offered us much comfort and relaxation. My husband is so thoughtful he takes time to think about things for us. I highly recommend it for those of you in the Dallas Ft. Worth area!
